A $1M dollar investment has been announced for East Grand Bahama.  The investment will be the first of a global network of coral farms capable of sustaining reefs for future generations. The Grand Bahama Development Company and the Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA) have partnered with Coral Vita to bring this world class project to life, the public announcement, with a special Ground Breaking and Blessing of the project, was held on Thursday, November 29th in Eastern Lucaya.

Over three hundred high school senior girls on Grand Bahama gathered for the 2nd Annual GirlCon Organization’s one-day conference held at the Regency Theatre on Tuesday, November 20th. American announced today that effective October 8, 2018 the airline will be going cashless at Freeport Grand Bahama International Airport (FPO). Passengers will be required to use a credit or debit card to make any transactions at the airport, including purchasing tickets and paying for checked baggage.
