Nassau, Bahamas – The 12th Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF),
kicks off today, welcoming over 35 international filmmakers to present
their movies, participate in panels, and immerse themselves in Bahamian
community and culture.
BIFF Founder and Executive Director Leslie Vanderpool said, “This year’s

The Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) announced today the two
features that will bookend the Festival as the Opening and Closing Night

Nassau, Bahamas – The Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF), this
year celebrating its 12th anniversary, today announced the members of
the jury that will preside over the competition categories at the
Festival, which takes place December 1st – 12th. The jury was revealed
today by BIFF Founder and Executive Director Leslie Vanderpool.
The four competition categories at BIFF are Spirit of Freedom:

Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) announced today that Debra Messing
(“Like Sunday Like Rain, Will and Grace, The Women, Open Season, The Wedding
Date, The Starter Wife, Seinfeld”) will be honored with BIFF’s special Shining
Star Tribute, presented by Atlantis Resort. The announcement was made by BIFF

The Festival’s Shining Star Award is given to an actor or actress whose
