The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Mr. Artie Johnson and
sponsor Timothy Dames on a well organized and successful tournament. The
tournament was held in Palmetto Point Eleuthera.

Athletic Director Mr Craig Massey is thrilled about the teams' success
saying “These were all complete team performances. Our students

Nassau Rowing Club competed in the 47th Miami International Regatta
hosted by the Miami Rowing Club on Saturday, 6th April 2019. The event
is one of the largest high school regattas in Florida, attracting 236
separate entries from 13 rowing clubs in South Florida, with Nassau RC
being the only non-American club in attendance.

Bahamian Kofi Bowe advanced to the semifinals of
the USTA's Rick Macci International Spring Break Challenger. Kofi
entered the Boys U16s event which was held in Boca Raton, Florida. Kofi
defeated Jack Kreisberg (USA) 6-4, 6-0 to advance to the
quarterfinals. He received a walkover to the semifinals where he played
his doubles partner Trey Hardersen of Florida and lost 4-6, 1-6.

The University of The Bahamas golf team turned in respectable scores
after the team’s first ever international competition this weekend
against Johnson and Wales University and Keiser University at the Miami
Shores Golf Course.
Alex Gibson led the team with a 18-hole 90. John Hall shot 94 and Deangelo Stubbs shot 110.
