Bahamas Ministry of Tourism Vancouver Subway Promotion
It just got a lot easier and faster for Canadian brides’ planning destination weddings in the Bahamas
to travel to the Bahamas. With the launch of Sunwing Airlines’ weekly
service from Vancouver and Calgary in Western Canada to Freeport,
Grand Bahama beginning November 1, 2014.
The flight which will initially be on Saturday’s will be a direct,
non-stop service allowing brides and their guest to be in the Bahamas
within 5 hours while enjoying Sunwing Airlines' award-winning Champagne
Service that includes a welcome glass of champagne, complimentary food
and wine along with in-flight entertainment offered at no charge.
With the introduction of the non-stop Vancouver and Calgary flights,
Sunwing will now offer direct service into Grand Bahama from eight
Canadian gateways including direct flights from Toronto, Montreal,
Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Halifax.

With the popularity of a Bahamas Destination weddings and honeymoon
amongst Canadian this added service should be a welcome addition to the
already available travel options.
