What happens when French fashion designer Chloe Trujillo takes on the influences of rock and roll? It results in an exquisite collection of fine French silk scarves with strong metaphors such as human skulls and mystic imagery.

ChloeTrujillo scarves fashion show was the highlight of a new Canadian news and lifestyle magazine Metro-Living-Zine launch party recently held at Five Sixty produced by Luvngrace.

Born of parents who were fashion designers, Chloe Trujillo today is an accomplish artist, fashion designer and performer who is married to legendary Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo.

You can see from her vibrant collection that she does have an obsession with images of skulls, for they are her inspiration as an artist. There is also a touch of Aztec in some. Her scarves were colourful and worn like dresses, tops or worn in traditionally over the shoulders.

In sharp contract with European designer scarfs by Gucci and Hermes, it’s all about making a strong rock and roll statement.

Available in a range of sizes, the quality of the silk and workmanship appears to be of high quality. She also featured matching handbags and I’m told jewelry will be available soon.

As this was her first runway show in Canada, I’m sure we are going to see more of her Rock and Roll inspired accessories.

Based in Los Angeles, Chloe Trujillo collection is available online at chloetrujillo.com.
