Inspired by her own generation, Seven Crash is a fashion line that crosses over classic and edgy, urban and fresh. An amazing imaginative print collection introduced to me by Taipei fashion designer Enchi Shen at Vancouver Fashion Week.

On the runway was her Resort 2016 collection, which encompasses unique patterns and a lively flower design to celebrate the beginning of a New Year.

“My spring collection is all about the electronic generation,” says Enchi Shen. Using electric charged colors on a palate of black and white, she incorporates cultural street style – past and future - into each collection.

For women, the silhouette is feminine with caressing lines, sexy short skirts and narrow pant legs. Her flower pattern on black and white is cool yet playful, and can be easily mixed and matched with anyone’s wardrobe. While her electric-charged coloured pattern outfits could easily be found on celebrities at top Los Angeles nightclubs.

With men suits, jackets and hats, there certainly is a club vibe look that will appeal to today's electronic generation. I admired her flower pattern men’s suit on black, which could easily be worn in New York, London or Paris. Her success in creating a fashion style that transcends both genders successfully is a testament to Enchi Shen skills and talent as a fashion designer.

Seven Crash collections are exclusive as they only produce a small batch, some as low as 20 pieces per city/country so they do sellout quickly. With only a few years of fashion design experience, Enchi Shen shows great promise as Seven Crush has a loyal following in Taiwan, Korea and Hong Kong, but now eyes New York and London. She believes in bending the rules of fashion, going crazy and having fun with design.

From Taipei, Seven Crash is the brand that has captured the fashion beat of a whole new electronic generation.
