Grand Lucayan officially reopens & welcoming guests after Hurricane Matthew -

GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND, Bahamas – Nov. 10, 2016 – Grand Lucayan, the
award-winning Caribbean resort offering guests an authentic Bahamian
experience, opened its doors Monday following temporary closure as a
result of Hurricane Matthew. Beginning with the re-opening of Lighthouse
Pointe, Grand Lucayan hopes to have the entire property operational by
February 2017.
“Our staff have worked tirelessly to get Grand
Lucayan ready for our guests,” said Veronica Clarke, hotel manager. “We
are so thrilled to be open and can’t wait for our guests to enjoy our
pools, beach, spa, golf and dining options.”
196-room Lighthouse
Pointe, the traditionally all-inclusive portion of the resort, will
temporarily play host to all guests, whether or not an all-inclusive
package is booked. Venues including Waves Pool Bar, Portobello’s,
Pizzeria Capri and Aroma Café are open. A new Sunday champagne brunch,
served from noon until 4pm is now offered...

Grand Lucayan announces quick comeback following Hurricane Matthew for fall travel in November -

GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND, Bahamas – Oct. 19, 2016 – Grand Lucayan, the award-
winning resort offering guests an authentic Bahamian experience, is
pleased to announce that its Lighthouse Pointe section will re-open and
start welcoming guests on November 7, 2016. Following damages caused by
Hurricane Matthew last month, this four-week turnaround can be
attributed to the resilience and perseverance of the Bahamian staff and
management.
“Grand Bahama Island definitely felt the impact of
Hurricane Matthew and our property sustained some impact as a result,
however, we’re determined to recover quickly” said Veronica Clarke,
hotel manager. “We look forward to welcoming guests back to our island,

Grand Lucayan Resort in Grand Bahama Island, The Bahamas issued the following statement after Hurricane Matthew devastated the island on Thursday.
Hurricane Matthew Update: Out of an abundance of caution, Grand Lucayan
successfully evacuated all guests and employees prior to the storm
making landfall.
At this time, we will
remain closed until we're able to finish a complete assessment of the
property. We appreciate everyone’s kind words of support and
encouragement.

Regenera Global Stem cell therapies conference coming to Grand Bahama -

Freeport and will take place at the Grand Lucayan Resort from June
23-25, 2016. Grand Bahama based cell therapy facility, Okyanos has
announced they are platinum sponsors of the event and will be hosting a
Cell Therapy Surgical Center Tour and Networking Reception event as part
of the conference agenda.
Titled
Regenerative Medicine 2.0: Redefining the Practice,
the conference will bring together scientists, clinicians, patients,
medical device manufacturers and industry stakeholders in the field of
stem cell-based therapies to discuss the transition of evidence-based
