A Christian Nation

As Bahamians, we proudly announce that we are a Christian nation. In most cases this is done out of ignorance, as ninety nine, point nine percent of us are unaware of the fact that Christianity in its self is nothing more than another religion.

This religious concept is the advantage that the enemy has on today’s church, which is the voice of influence to the nation.  Knowing of the unconditional love relationship God has for mankind.  The enemy methodically set his perverted plans of establishing religions to contaminate this relationship; the most subtle of these religions is that of Christianity because it derives from the word Christ.

The relationship of Father Yahweh with mankind is established through the shed blood of Yeshuwa Messiah and his disciples. As good as it may seem to be; Christianity is the   counterfeit to that of a discipline relationship with Father Yahweh through his son Yeshuwa Messiah.

As I’ve consistently stated that nowhere is the scriptures can it be found where Yeshuwa Messiah (Jesus the Christ) himself, ever called or referred to his followers Christians; but rather he called them disciples.
Therefore when we say that we’re a Christian nation; what we are really saying is that we’re a religious nation. Which simply means that our doors and our arms are wide open to other world religions.

An internet search of world religions would revealed that Christianity is listed among others such as: (1) Buddhism, (2) Baha’i Faith, (3) Confucianism, (4) Hinduism, (5) Islam, (6) Jainism, (7) Judaism, (8) Shinto, (9) Sikhism, (10) Taoism, (11) Vodun - Voodoo.

There is also the Neopagan religious faith that we’ve open ourselves to such as:
1. Asatru (Norse Paganism)
2. Druidism
3. Goddess Worship
4. Wicca / Witchcraft
5. Satanism: The church of Satan
6. Scientology, etc;

Satan has always desired to be worshiped or received worship (Isa.14:12 - 14), as a result of his wicked heart he was cast out of heaven. Today, Satan is receiving the desires of his heart through world religions.  Most religions worship various gods, erroneous religious beliefs would have many to believe that we are all God’s children; when it fact absolutely nothing could be further from the truth.
We are all God’s creation but we are not all his children. Yeshuwa made this perfectly clear when he was confronted by the religious leaders of his day.

John.8:44.  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

As the stage is being set for the appearance of the anti-Christ and the establishment of
The New World Order / The One World Government and also the formation of a One
World Religion; listed below are just a few religious sect and an out dated number of
their followers, the numbers far exceeds what’s being presented here.

Christianity: 2.1 billion
Islam: 1.5 billion
Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/
Atheist: 1.1 billion
Hinduism: 900 million
Chinese traditional religion: 394 million
Buddhism: 376 million
primal-indigenous: 300 million
African Traditional & Diasporic: 100 million
Sikhism: 23 million
Juche: 19 million
Spiritism: 15 million
Judaism: 14 million
Baha'i: 7 million
Jainism: 4.2 million
Shinto: 4 million
Cao Dai: 4 million
Zoroastrianism: 2.6 million
Tenrikyo: 2 million
Neo-Paganism: 1 million
Unitarian-Universalism: 800 thousand
Rastafarianism: 600 thousand
Scientology: 500 thousand

Think it not strange that the enemy have such free course in the Bahamas as he’s killing of our young men and woman at will; and the powerless, religious Christian church can do absolutely nothing but standby and watch.  In Christianity itself the division is by far the greatest for there are hundreds / thousands of different denomination within this religion from: Catholicism, Anglicanism, Protestantism, etc, etc.

So, are we a Christian Nation?  Yes, maybe; for sure as a nation we’re skilled at using the bible to prove our points and to gain advantages, but when it comes to being disciples of Yeshuwa Messiah (discipline ones to His teachings and the word of God), that’s where we draw the line.  Who are you?  A Christian or a Disciple.
