A New Year - A New Start!

Isa.43: 19.   Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Was 2011, and the year before 2010, years where you’ve gotten prophetic words that God was about to move mightily in your life / on your behalf?   Chances are there might have been a rhyming, religious cliché attached to the prophetic word and interestingly enough, you weren’t the only person in the church service or financial conference, etc; who received such prophetic words also.

Please know that there are some dynamics that one must take into consideration when it comes to the manifestation of a Godly prophetic word (here’s two of them).

(1) The word must be of God and not the vain imagination of the Religious Leader / False Prophetic?

NLT: Jer.23: 16.   This is my warning to my people," says the LORD Almighty. "Do not listen to these prophets when they prophesy to you, filling you with futile hopes. They are making up everything they say. They do not speak for the LORD!
:17.   They keep saying to these rebels who despise my word, 'Don't worry! The LORD says you will have peace!' And to those who stubbornly follow their own evil desires, they say, 'No harm will come your way!'
:18.   "But can you name even one of these prophets who knows the LORD well enough to hear what he is saying? Has even one of them cared enough to listen?

(2)  In most cases the manifestation of the prophetic word would require prayerful spiritual warfare.
NLT: 1Kings. 18:1. After many months passed, in the third year of the drought, the LORD said to Elijah, "Go and present yourself to King Ahab. Tell him that I will soon send rain!"

18: 41.   Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go and enjoy a good meal! For I hear a mighty rainstorm coming!"
: 42.   So Ahab prepared a feast. But Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and fell to the ground and prayed.

If you really want to see and experience God’s manifested presence and favor upon your life this New Year; start by deleting all of the religious junk out and off your hard drive (mind & heart), and begin uploading the spirit of prayer, and diligently seek to walk upright before the Lord; and you would be surprised at God’s (dunamis, doo'-nam-is;) working power in your life.
Amp: James.5:16b. The earnest (heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

As it is God desires to do a new thing for you; you’ve got to be willing and obedient to the leading of His Holy Spirit. This new wine that He wants to pour out upon you / anoint you with can’t be contained in the old wine skin / your mind-set (old ways - manner of thinking and doing things).

As we move forward into this New Year 2012, to be a recipient of the new thing that God’s about to do; there must be a forgetting and a forsaking of past actions and behaviors (lifestyle) that did not, and doesn’t bring honor and glory to God.   This new thing / move of God is not predicated upon religious clichés and rhymes; but rather upon ones obedience to the word of God, despite every adverse circumstances.

Chief among the requirements of a person being a recipient of God’s mighty move this New Year, is that of walking in love (especially with an enemy). Someone whom you know doesn’t have your best interest at heart; they would smile in your face and won’t think twice of stabbing you in the back.

Watch this !
Matt.5: 43.   Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
:44.   But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Don’t fall into the snare of making New Year Resolutions while holding onto bad habits and practices of the previous years, and expecting different results.   If you have to make a resolution, make the effort to complete / fulfill the resolution you’ve made at the beginning of 2011, or the ones from 2010, 2009, 2008, etc, etc, etc.

Here’s another food for thought:   If you must make a resolution let it be this!  Resolve not to share your plans for this New Year with others and commit to sticking with the plan throughout the year. Again, from a church / religious perspective; try not to fall for pathetic (so-called prophetic) words and fancy religious clichés. It’s your duty / responsibility to study the word of God (2Tim.2:15), and not just casually reading a few scripture verses but diligently studying the word thereby avoiding being taken by ulterior motives religious leaders with their favorite emotionally charged / led sayings “I don’t know who I’m talking to in here, but God told me to tell you”

As you pursue God (Father Yahweh) this New Year please know and understand this!   There’s no such thing as Father Yahweh sending His messengers with a message, and the messengers not knowing to whom the message is for.

Only a gullible, itching ear, naïve, religious minded lazy Christian who refused to study the word of God for themselves would swallow and fall for such emotional sayings “I don’t know who I’m talking to in here, but God told me to tell you”

People listen!

I know you’ll love your Religious Leaders (Bishops, Doctors, Prophets, Pastors, Apostles, etc,) and that’s good; but when you love them to the point that you’re willing to totally ignore the check / warnings that the Holy Spirit would give concerning the so-called prophetic words that’s coming across your church pulpit. You’re in direct violation and total disobedience to the Holy Spirit.

But please know this; whenever the Lord speaks to His servants / gives them a message or an assignment that message is sent to a designated person or people, a specific place or to accomplish a specific task.
Watch this!

Acts.9: 10.   And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
:11.   And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
:12.   And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

Can you see or imagine Ananias doing or saying like today’s Religious Leaders when he would have gotten to the house of Judas “I don’t know who I’m talking to in here, but God told me to tell you”   No, this man of God / disciple knew exactly where he had to go, what he was instructed to do and say.

The only logical conclusion that can be drawn when these sorts of sayings are going forth “I don’t know who I’m talking to in here, but God told me to tell you”  is that these religious leaders really don’t hear from God; for lack of a better word, they’re lying.

Isa.43: 19.   Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Happy New Year !
