A Unified Voice

As our country (The Bahamas) goes through this difficult / challenging times where crime and lawlessness seems to be the order of the day.  If the church could ever get on one accord and speaking with a unified voice; the devil and his kingdom of darkness would be in a great deal of trouble ?  But unfortunately this is not the case; as every church / religious leader is busy with their own agenda.

If there is such a gallop pole / ratings of nations that are proficient in quoting / reciting the scriptures the Bahamas / Bahamian people would have to be listed among the top (3) three.

I have come to understand real quickly that when a religious group or leader talks about unity what they’re really referring to; is to have you unite with them to champion their cause and upon completion unity ceases to exist until you’re needed again.
The kingdom of darkness and spiritual wickedness understands the tremendous power that’s made available in unity; this is one of the many reasons why we can have the same presence of evil in various communities.

Notwithstanding, that in these communities we’ve got a great number of powerless / divided churches that are praying, fasting and hosting all kind of conferences for God’s blessings to be poured out.

Watch this !  Mr. Bishop, Apostle, Doctor, Pastor, etc;
Ps.133: 1. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
: 2.  It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
: 3.  As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

What’s really sad; is that all of these divided church leaders knows the above scriptures very well, but yet they blatantly choose not to walk in true unity.  Therefore what they’re calling God’s blessings (The Cars, The House, The Church Buildings, etc;) is nowhere near the true blessings of God.

True unity commands the presence of God:
Gen.11: 6.  And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
: 7.  Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

Here’s the wonderful thing about uniting for the kingdom of God and righteousness; God gets involved in the process and confounds the kingdom of darkness.  It’s only a matter of whether or not we as a church wants to unite; so that God can have free course / access into the affairs of His people.
In unity, there’s no Big I and Little U; we’re all just servants ready and willing to used by Father Yahweh, in Yahshua Messiah’s name.  Unity helps us with the “ I must decreased, so that He may increase”  it also brings about a sense of oneness amongst the saints.  Whereas we’re making a public declaration to the kingdom of darkness that he or she is my brother / sister; if you touch anyone of them, you’ve touched me.

It’s not a matter of “Will there ever be unity in the church ?”  As God will have unity in the church, even if He has to remove leaders who refuse to humble themselves and unite for the advancement of His kingdom.
One’s religious title and office that they holds within the church doesn’t guarantee their a right standing with God; but rather complete, uncompromised obedience to His word puts one in right standing with Him.
The time has come for us to put aside the petty religious, denominational differences and unite as the body of Messiah ( the body of Christ ). For the entire world knows that from the time Yahshua Messiah walked the earth His manifested presence should be seen to a much greater degree through the children of God ( Yahweh ).

Watch this !
Rom.8: 19.  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

So, my Brothers and Sisters; it’s time for us to unite and put the enemy to flight. How many more murders are we going to allow in our communities before we rise up and not only say that “Enough is enough”  but come together collectively as a unified body and take back our communities ?

The word unity in the Hebrew is: yachad, yakh'-ad; and one of the meanings of this word yachad, yakh'-ad; is a nevertheless coming together, a withal.
The word unity in the Greek is: henotes, hen-ot'-ace;  which means (a  oneness, unanimity).

Here’s what the Apostle Paul say to the saints at Ephesus:
Eph.4: 3.  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
: 4.  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
: 5.  One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
: 6.  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
