1Sam.17: 46. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee, and I will give the xarcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

 

It’s time for the saints of the most high God, to take a firm stand and deal with the many Goliaths that have taken control of their communities, their marriages, families, schools, finances, health and peace.

Somehow, many persons are of the view that as long as they pray about their situation; the enemy (Satan) is going to back off / away.

Wrong ! There is a corresponding action that goes along with prayer; it sounds something like this “Faith without works is dead”

 

The shepherd boy, David; saw and understood something that the entire military force of Israel didn’t; therefore he could have asked the question “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

The time has come for you to access the throne room of heaven / the command center and get some wise instructions on how to deal with the Goliaths that you’re facing. One of the mistakes that most believers make is to remain silent as their Goliath makes his declarations.

 

Watch this !

Goliath made some declarations and as a result all Israel remain silent in fear: 1Sam.17: 8. And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them “Why are ye come out to set your battle in array ? Am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul ? Choose you a man for you and let him come down to me.

: 9. If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.

: 10. And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.

: 11. When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.

 

As your Goliath / situation (Whatever it may be; financial, marital, health, employment, etc;) speaks to you, don’t make the mistake of remaining fearfully silent; but rather stand your ground / take authority and respond to that uncircumcised Philistine.

 

If it’s a financial situation / Goliath that’s speaking out against you, start declaring the word of Yahweh over your life and situation. Ps.35: 27. Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hat pleasure in the prosperity of his servants.

 

If it’s a marital situation / Goliath, Matt.19: 5. For THIS CAUSE SHALL A MAN LEAVE FATHER AND MOTHER, AND SHALL CLEAVE TO HIS WIFE: AND THEY TWAIN SHALL BE ONE FLESH ?

: 6. Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

 

If it’s a health situation / Goliath you‘re facing, speak the word of God to that situation. (Isa.53.5. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

 

If it’s an employment situation / Goliath you’re facing, ( Prov.21:1. The king’s / my employer’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will

 

The time for just crying about your situation / Goliath is over, it‘s time to speak the word of God over your situation: Yahshua Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ) when confronted by the devil didn’t cry about the situation, He applied the word “Satan, it is written”

How much longer are you going to cry about what the P.L.P or F.N.M. did or didn’t do ? How much longer are you going to cry about the Republicans or the Democrats ? Who died on the cross for your sins and freedom ? Was it Hubert Ingraham or Perry Christie ? Was it Barack Obama or Sarah Palin ?

 

Your Goliath will do whatever is necessary to keep you out of your promised land, he is a strategic fighter that has mastered the art of distraction. Therefore he has been successfully distracting you form entering your promised land by various ways and means. The question is “How much longer are you going to remain silent and fall for his tricks and distractions ?”
