Whenever a gunman brandished his weapon at an individual or a group, the most logical thing that a sound thinking person would do; is to lift both hands into the air which shows a sign or state of surrender.  In other words the message that’s been sent to the gunman is this “I surrender my possessions, my rights, and my freedom”

As a Christian Nation, a people who claims to know and loves God; we’ve yet to understand the true concept of totally surrendering our all to God.

Make no mistake about it; we’ve gotten all the church jargon and religious clichés down pack, in so much that we’ve even deceived ourselves into thinking that our various religious acts are pleasing to God.

The surrendering to God is an act of one dying to his will, for that of God’s will, e.g. Matt.26: 39. O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

1Corinth.15: 31.  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

As Christians, our preconceived ideas of the word dying has created much struggles and challenges for us; as we’ve been trained to see dying from the concept of losing something or someone in the form of death; and it‘s from this premise that Satan is gaining the advantage over most believers.  Whenever we allow our wills to die; then the will of God begins to manifest in and through every facet of our lives.

From a materialistic stand point the dying / surrendering of our all to God has by far; a much greater rewards.

John.12: 24.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Mk.10: 29.  And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,: 30.  But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

As the world goes through its cycles in preparation for the return of Our Lord and Savior if there is ever a time that we should totally surrender to God; that time is now.  This is definitely not the time to be caught up with and distracted by the devil‘s two most influential systems; worldwide and they are (Politics & Religion).  Take the time and do the math, study and you would clearly see that for centuries these two systems has and is yet impacting the lives of everybody, one way or another.

Politics !  A governance system that rules / oversees the affairs of a people / nation. Religion ! An institutionalized or personal system of beliefs and practices relating to the divine.

Both of these systems are scripturally based and have various forms of Godliness and can be counted as a healthy or an unhealthy distractions to God’s plans and purposes for His people.

The children of Israel wanted to be (Religious & Political) like the other nations, despite the fact that God had warned them of the same.

Deut.12:29.  When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
: 30.  Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

1Sam.8:5.  And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

: 6.  But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.

: 7.  And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

Despite the fact that we’ve got over four thousand churches throughout the Bahamas, as a people we’ve yet to totally surrender to Father Yahweh, for we are bent on holding onto our various religions and politic; again, we’ve got all the forms of Godliness; but we’re void of His power.

Think it not strange that Satan is wreaking havoc in our communities where there are multiple churches that powerlessly standby and watch, as young lives are being snuffed out via criminal activities and diseases, and others are being incarcerated. This is the strategic, divisive plan of the enemy that he’s unleashed against any and everything that has the potential of bringing honor and glory to God. And due to the fact that the church has ignorantly conformed to religion / a device of Satan; he (Satan) has gain an advantage over many.

2Corinth.2:11.  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

It’s time to surrender saints:
