 As I’ve stated before, so do I again. “As a Pastor, it’s very easy to
come into agreement with the religious ambiance of the country; and to
preach / teach or echo that of the country’s religious leaders.
One
of the most frightening revelations concerning nations and today’s
religious churches came to me within hours of writing this article.
During
the process of writing another article, I was instructed by the Holy
Spirit to shift course and write the following.
As
chaos, mayhem and the law of deterioration runs rampant throughout the
earth due to the deceptive spirit of religion. The church (the gathering
of saints) has been reduced to a gathering of people for religious /
emotional entertainments.
The representation of the church that is
seen today is in no position spiritually to successfully engage and war
against the forces of evil and the kingdom of darkness; as it‘s been
distracted and lured to sleep by religious teachings that’s not inspired
by the Holy Spirit.
Ninety five percent of today’s church
preaching and teachings is centered around materialism and financial
prosperity; in other words the church has become a bless me club.
Whereby the so-called prophets entertains and thrills their audiences
with prophesy of how God is about to bless somebody with “a car, a house
or some other form of materialism”
It’s this type of religious
(foolishness) preaching & teaching
that the poor in spirit or the spiritual immature is feeding on; and of
which the enemy thrives.
Now, is God concern about the welfare
and blessing of His people? Yes, by all means is He concern about this
aspect of His people lives.
But where today’s church has ran
aground and have gone off course is that its teachings and whatever new
books written by religious leaders has a very strong cord of prosperity
and materialism attached.
The obedience to God’s word by His people
always brought about provision for the house of God, for the Priests and
those who worked in the house.
Watch this!
The Priests didn’t
have to market themselves and merchandise the word of God as the
religious leaders of today are doing in Jesus’ name.
Disobedience and
the compromising of God’s word by religious leaders worldwide, has led
to the fleecing that’s taking place in various churches today. And
before this
skillful fleecing takes place a very high level of emotional
entertainment goes forth; its often disguised as “Praise & Worship”
But
nothing could be further from the truth, as praise & worship is a
Holy Act; and there is nothing Holy in the fleecing of God’s people.
Please
let me hasten to say that “I am a staunch believer in the prosperity of
God and not this incomplete prosperity teachings of today’s church that
benefits primarily the religious leaders”
There is very little to
no balance in the church as it relates to the teaching and preaching of
prosperity. To the point that many well meaning saints are blind and
are at a level of ignorance to the fact that the spiritual battle is not
yet over.
Nowhere in the scriptures can it be found (That the
battle is over, let’s take it easy and enjoy our prosperity as we awaits
the Lord’s return), but rather here’s what the apostle Paul
says:
Eph.6: 11. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be
able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
: 12. For we wrestle
not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.
Religious entertainments / conferences
always appeals to the emotions of its patrons somewhat like that of
crack-cocaine to its user. Where the first hit of crack-cocaine opens
the doors to a craving that can only be satisfied by more cocaine.
The
enemy is fully aware of the fact that the church is filled with
religious junkies and he’s methodically fulfilling their desires through
entertaining religious leaders.
The saints / disciples of
Yeshuwa Messiah that are confronting and engaging the evil forces and
kingdom of darkness has the revelation of Luke.9:1-2.
Lk.9: 1. Then
he called his twelve disciples together,
and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure
diseases.
: 2. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to
heal the sick.
Which crew are you apart of ? The crew that
seeks entertainment or the crew that confronts and engages the evil
forces / kingdom of darkness?
