Not Paid to Think

In listening to various House of Assembly meetings and based upon the deteriorating state of the nation.  I’ve concluded that it’s not fair for me to further judge or to expect the politicians /  Over Grown Children; to prepare the Bahamas for the technology driven generation of tomorrow.
The million dollar questions that I’m constantly asking are these:
1.   How could these supposedly highly educated elected men and women / Politicians, be so ancient in their methods of operation and presentation?
2.   Is it that Bahamians are so backwards and ignorant to the point that they would continually accept the grade one, level of representation and behavior of their elected officials ( especially ) in the place they proudly call “This Honorable House of Assembly?”  Wow !

Interestingly, here’s a list of a few things that today’s politicians ( P.L.P. & F.N.M ) are not being paid by the Bahamian people to do.
They’re not being paid to:
1.  Come up with innovative ideas that will help enhance the future development and advancement of the Bahamian people at large.
2.   Ensure that the laws on the books of the Bahamas are carried out, and that justice flows throughout the land for all.
And # 3. They are not being paid to THINK;  as it is evident and has been for the past 37 years.  The only person in politics that is allowed to think is the Prime Minister ( be that P.L.P. or F.N.M. )

Since the Bahamas has assumed the comfortable position of having none thinking leaders. Why waste time and tax-payers money in going through the electoral process of electing wutless, brainless politicians?  It will be more stress free, less tension and bitter rivalry (Nationally), to openly declare that we operate under a dictatorship / semi-democratic system of governance.
With no disrespect intended or player hating on any of our citizens who have not traveled abroad and experienced the life of living and functioning in the advance, modern technology developed world.  It’s insane and somewhat criminal for Bahamians to accept from today’s politicians a Bahamas that has probably taken about two - three steps forward since the days of Alvin Brennen, Ed Moxey, Carlton Francis, etc;

How sickening is it; to hear politicians grandstanding and patting themselves on their backs about bills that their government has passed into law.  When there are Family Islands in this 2010, that still don’t have fresh drinking water,  a good and proper dock to access the mail boats.
Watch this!
In both the P.L.P  &  F.N.M Governments the Ministers of Health has been some sort a medical doctor.  And yet, none of these ( poor excuses / Ministers of Health ) ever saw the need for; or is passionate enough to sacrificially agitate for a New State of the Art Hospital.

If Princess Margaret herself were to take a tour and inspect the ancient PMH; she would STRONGLY advise that her name be taken off that pink dinosaur.

Then again, I really can’t  fault the various Ministers of Health for their inability to agitate for a New Hospital. For to do so would call for a THINKING Minister of Health and unfortunately for Bahamians; their politicians are not being paid to think.
While you ponder upon what has been said; whether you agree or disagree based upon the manner of which things are ran in this country.
Seriously consider and honestly answer this question for me “ What will happen to the Bahamas with regards to its day to day affairs and decision making if the Prime Minister (F.N.M or P.L.P) were to suddenly pass away?

Okay, I know your answer:  And despite the evidential fact that you’re wrong in assuming that the Deputy Prime Minister would ensure the smooth running of our country upon the passing of the Prime Minister.  Chew on the following !
The Prime Ministers (both present and former) are alive and in good health; and we thank God for that.  Yet the Bahamas is rapidly digressing rather than progressing; and there is not the slightest trace of a progressive thinking Deputy Prime Minister that will boldly say “Mr. Prime Minister, we’re not going forward nor are we maintaining our position, but rather we’re going backwards as a nation”   .

This kind of national development talk will never come from your religious leaders; as many of them are to politically driven and biases to speak up for the best interest of the country.  Whereas those who are not too politically involved are to busy merchandising the gospel, pimping from the pulpit, making money and building their own kingdom in Jesus’ name.

Father Yahweh has commanded me to show the Nation to the Nation, He has also instructed me to show the Church to the Church; and in so doing He will expose the hypocrisy of Religion and its leaders by whatever title they call themselves ( Bishops, Doctors, Apostles, False Prophets, etc;).

Stay Tune for show the Church to the Church:
