Ps.136: 1. O Give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

In spite of how things might look right now, and what you’re going through / experiencing. Don’t ever forget or ignore the fact that you MUST always give God (Father Yahweh) thanks.

For in the midst of your justifiable or unjustifiable complaints, concerning your situation; the very breath that you’re using to lodge your complaints belongs to and comes from Him (Yahweh ).

Please hear this !
Your circumstances, set backs and trials doesn’t change who God is; for He knows your beginning and your ending. As urgent as your matter might be, the simple fact that in the you’re able to give God thanks and praises is enough to stay the hand / forces of the enemy that maybe working against you.

Let’s highlight some of the things you might be facing / going through that would warrant your complaint.
(1) Lost of Job / no income:
(2) Every bill is past due / delinquent:
(3) Home foreclosure / Apartment eviction notice:
(4) Automobile repossession:
(5) Family / Martial problems:
(6) Terminal Illness / a bad doctor’s report:
(7) The death / lost of a love one:

Now, let’s be real !
Let’s tell the truth and shame the devil: There was a time when I, as an immature believer, and even today as a mature believer (A Pastor ), when I had to experienced / go through multiple of the above mentioned situations / circumstances.
Giving thanks to God was absolutely nowhere on my mind and the very last thing I wanted was to have some spooky, ignorant religious person quoting scriptures (out of context) to me.

But thanks be unto God, that even in my darkest moments when I doubted and did my best to avoid anything that looked like and even sounded like God; He (God), was yet faithful to me.

He preserved and sustained me, He kept me in my right mind, when I didn’t know what to do, or where / whom to turn; God did for me that which only He could have done. So, no matter what trials or tests I’m facing in life; I now know and understand how important it is to give God thanks rather than complaining.

I don’t know what you’re facing today; but I can assure you that your situation has not caught God by surprise or off guard. Might I strongly suggest / recommend that you find the time to withdraw, get away from the crowd, find a solitary place; your bedroom, on the beach, wherever; just get away to a place where God can have a one on one; some private moments with you.

Rev. Paul Jones, sang the song ( I Won’t Complain ): Here’s a few verses of the song. “I’ve had some good day, I’ve had some hills to climb, I’ve had some weary days and some restless nights.

But when I looked around, and I think things over; all of my good days, they outweigh my bad days; I won’t complain because God has been good to me”

As you’re reading this article take a few minutes and let your ears, hear your mouth giving thanks and praises unto God. In the midst of all that you’re going through, your thanksgiving and praise would invite God to show up strong on your behalf. Thanksgiving and obedience unto God is the formula that positions one to receive double for their troubles.

Whenever I’m faced with a situation that would prompt me to complain, I’m constantly reminded of Job and his troubles. During the course of this week take the time to study (Job.1:1) and then compare your situation to that of Job’s, a man of great substances who lost everything that he had, all in the same day.

Your obedience to God’s word accompanied with a heart of thanksgiving and praise would unlock every locked doors that’s before you. Every adverse situation that you’re facing would supernaturally begin to turn around as you continually give thanks unto God.
Don’t allow where you are, to determine who you are ! This can be liken to a Bahamian being in China or in Haiti; he / she might be in China or Haiti, but that doesn’t make them a Chinese or a Haitian.
Likewise, you’re not the situation that you might be in right now; for the truth of the matter is that you’re the righteousness of God ( Yahweh ) in Yahshua Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ). Therefore, be comforted in knowing that He ( Yahweh ) will bring you up and out of every trial, test and situation.

Believe the word of God and the power that He’s endowed you with:
Eph.3:20. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Ps.136: 1. O Give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
