The Dust Settles

All that you’re going through (The ups & downs, the setbacks, the disappointments and in some cases the failures) use them to your advantage as you move forward to your God ordained place / assignment in life. When the dust settles as a result of your faithfulness and confidence in the One True God (Father Yahweh) all of your tears, pains and sorrows will turn to joy, gladness and thanksgiving unto the God of your salvation.

KJV : Heb.10: 35.   Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

NLT : Heb.10: 35.   Do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you!

As human beings, we all want to be loved, appreciated and have everybody speak well of us (especially) if and when we’re going through our challenges. And the most of all we would like to have everybody’s support (financially, spiritually and otherwise) during our challenging times, but when that doesn’t happen it’s very easy to be taken captive by the spirit of self pity, stress and depression.   It’s during these times that we must be able to press our way through the storm and encourage ourselves in the Lord.
Watch this!

KJV: 1Sam.30: 6.   And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

And.

NLT: 1Sam.30: 6.   David was now in serious trouble because his men were very bitter about losing their wives and children, and they began to talk of stoning him. But David found strength in the LORD his God.

It’s of the utmost importance that you learn how to encourage yourselves in the Lord your God; as the day and time will come when even those close to you will talk of stoning you in one aspect or another.  During the talk of stoning David, he (David) asked Abiathar the priest for the “Ephod” (a special shoulder piece worn by the priest as he ministers before the Lord), and then he inquired at the Lord for wisdom of what to do.

Even in the midst of your trials, test and challenges God’s wisdom is available to those who inquire. The mistake that many saints often make during these times is that of leaning to their own understanding and not acknowledging God in all their ways; whereas the word of God admonishes us to.

Prov.3: 5.   Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

: 6.   In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
While it’s good to have a Pastor / shepherd or a Godly, Holy Spirit filled mature person to give sound advice and counsel as you’re going through your challenges; there’s absolutely nothing like having that one on one communication with God (Yahweh).   The trusting in the Lord with all your heart; and leaning not to your own understanding is an easy transition for the believer with a personal relationship with Him.   This is not to say that a believer won’t be concerned about the situation or condition at hand (its human nature for us to be concerned or somewhat worried based upon the situation), but our confidence in God’s ability to deliver, preserve, provide and protect is never shaken.

Here’s one of my favorite sayings “No matter what you’re going through or what situation you’re presently in; don’t allow where you are, to determine who you are” You’re not your situation; you may not have the money to meet your financial obligations right now and your creditors may be speaking evil of you. Just know that you’re the righteousness of God (Yahweh) in and through Yahshua Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ), keep your heart pure towards your creditors / walk in love with them as the day will come when you shall make full restitution (Your God is a deliverer).
You may have gotten a bad report from the Doctor concerning an incurable disease or sickness and don’t know what to do; and to make matters worse some friends and family maybe treating you as an outcast, here’s the word of the Lord to you.

NLT : Jer.30: 12.   "This is what the LORD says: Yours is an incurable bruise, a terrible wound.

: 13.   There is no one to help you or bind up your injury. You are beyond the help of any medicine.

: 17   I will give you back your health and heal your wounds, says the LORD. "Now you are called an outcast--' Jerusalem for whom nobody cares.'

When faced with a life or death situation, here’s the response of the three Hebrew boys:   KJV: Dan.3: 16.   Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

: 17.   If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
: 18.   But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
And:
NLT: Dan.3: 16.   Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you.
: 17.   If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty.
: 18.   But even if he doesn't, Your Majesty can be sure that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up."

No matter what you’re going through, hang in there; when the dust settles the whole world would come to know that you’re a child of the King.
