The First Quarter

Do you remember the last two weeks of December 2009, where everybody was making and talking about their New Years Resolutions?  Now here we are today into the second quarter of 2010, and how many of you can honestly say that you’re still on tract with your resolutions?  Or are those mentioned resolutions were just a bunch of hot air and rhetoric to go along with the atmosphere at the time?

We all know the definition of the word insanity, which is (consistently doing the same things, and expecting different results).

Gone are the days when the view or mind-set was that “The crazy or insane persons are all at Sandilands”  Whereas all one has to do; is to take a good look at the wrong direction in which this country is heading spiritually, morally and economically.  It would be easier than cutting soft butter with a hot knife to conclude that insane leadership (Politically, spiritually & socially) is at the forefront of our country heading in the wrong direction.

One of the easiest thing to do as a Pastor in order to be accepted and beloved by many; is to follow the paths and come into agreement with the methods of operation of today’s religious leaders; who are skillfully using the word of God to promote themselves and their ministries whiles the country is on a slippery slop to hell.  This is one aspect of agreement and unity that I will never to be apart of.

Watch this!
The first quarter of this year (January - March) has just passed and the country’s murder count is what ????????

I applauder the government on its wise decision making in the appointments of Mr. Ellison Greenslade as Commissioner of Police and Mr. Marvin Dames as Deputy Commissioner of Police.  As these men brings a very high level of visionary leadership to the once very low moral police force.

From the natural perspective this is the type of leadership that the force was in desperate need of for that organization to successfully enforce and maintain law and order throughout the Bahamas.

Tragically on the other hand, the Bahamas finds its self between a rock and a hard place from a spiritual perspective as the thousands of religious leaders (Bishops, Apostles, Doctors, etc;) who claims to be the mouth pieces of God have taken the path of  pursuing fame and fortune; rather than being humble servants of the most high unto his people and being watchmen on the nation’s wall.

This wicked, self gratifying, religious position taken by many of today’s church leaders has left the country wide opened and exposed to the wiles of the anti-Christ spirit that is wreaking havoc throughout the length and breath of the Bahamas.  As our male seed is being murdered and incarcerated in record numbers.

At times it’s nauseating and repulsive to hear religious leaders giving their re-active words of sympathy and sorrow in the aftermath of a murder or some other disaster due to human negligence; verses that of some pro-active burden removing, yoke destroying, anointed words from Yahweh.
There is by far too much at stake for any true man or woman of God to remain silent or to take a compromising position when it comes to declaring the truth as to the spiritual location of the Bahamas.  In the declaration of this truth; one would quickly come to relies that he or she would be ostracized and demonized by the country’s well organized / established religious order.  Yet  to a true servant / child of the King and from the kingdom of God’s perspective; it’s considered a great honor to be ostracized by the religious spirit.

As we’re now into the second quarter of this New Year 2010; as a nation we can choose to remain insane, that’s (consistently doing the same things, and expecting different results) or we can be willing and obedient to truly seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.
I’m cognizant of this fact: That Yeshuwa Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ) was never accepted nor welcomed by the religious leaders of His day, because of who He was and the message that He taught and preached.  Likewise the contents of this and all the other articles that I’ve been led by the Holy Spirit to write will always be perceived as  controversial to the religious leaders and mind-set.

As a man of God, I sincerely believe in the power of prayer and I also believe that there are some praying people and churches throughout the Bahamas.  But be that as it may, our greatest problem is not the lack of prayer; but rather it’s the spirit of arrogance within church leadership and the refusal to turn. Therefore our land will forever be spiritually sick and this sickness has many symptoms such as (spiritual wicked in high places,  murder,  lying, stealing, fornication, corruption, adultery, poverty, homosexuality, incest, lesbianism, child molestation, etc;).

Watch this!
2Chron.7: 14.  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Who was Father Yahweh, speaking to in the above passage of scripture?  Surely, He was not speaking to the heathen, but rather to His people / a type of today‘s church; those who are called by His name.  As stated we’ve got the praying part down packed, but the turning from our wicked way; that’s a total different story.

Stay tune next week as we identify and address the spirit of wickedness.
