The FOG ( Favor of God ) is something that we [mankind] despite how
theologically sound we are, and how well we exegete the scriptures will
never truly understand and be able dictate as to who is entitled to
receive God‘s favor. For He causes it rain on the just, and the
unjust.
This word favour is mentioned 70 times in 70 verses in the entire bible:
- In The Old Testament 64 times in 64 verses, and in The New Testament 6 times in 6 verses .
In
the Hebrew the word favour is: chen, khane; which has several meanings,
i.e. (1) graciousness, (2) kindness, (3) beauty, (4) grace - gracious,
(5) pleasant, (6) precious,
In the Greek the word favour is: charis, khar'-ece; which means,
(1) The graciousness / gratifying manner or act. (2) The divine
influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life of an
individual, (3) The acceptable, benefit, gift, grace, joy, liberality,
& pleasure.
Walking in and expecting the FOG doesn’t forbid or excuses one from
declaring the truth of God’s word, even when it hurts or offends the
hearers. The religious mind-set will always find ways to take offense
against the bearer of God’s word especially if the light of the Word is
shining in the secret compartments of their lives.
As bearers of the uncompromised truth, never think it strange or take
it personal as the religious mind-sets rejects and do their utmost to
try and silence you; for Yeshua Messiah (Jesus the Christ) experienced
the very same, yet He stayed focus and uncompromisingly declared the
truth.
Mary, the mother of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua Messiah found
favour with God, and if it was up to the religious mind-set and
tradition of her day; she would have been stoned to death. Lk.1: 30.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour
with God.
During the reign of Queen Esther and Mordecai the entire Jewish
nation was saved due to God’s favour upon her life via King Ahasuerus.
Watch this!
Est.
5: 2. And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in
the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out
to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near,
and touched the top of the sceptre.
The favour of God upon one’s life would do
far more than what money can do. For even the world’s wealthiest man or
woman finances are limited; but the favour of God is limitless. God,
doesn’t need man’s approval to bestow His favour upon whom ever He
chooses; and at times the recipient of God’s favour would be the least
expected person /s.
Therefore, I would strongly admonished you to treat everybody with
respect and dignity because the very one that you despise; could be the
very one that the FOG may rest heavily upon.
As
we go through these difficult / challenging times it will serves us
best to seek the face of Yahweh. This is definitely not the time to be
distracted by immature / petty things, but rather to forget those
things that are behind, and press toward the mark for the prize of the
high calling of God in Yeshua Messiah.
As you’re reading this article, don’t allow your past, the spirit
of guilt and condemnation to hold you hostage. Desperate times calls
for desperate measures, instead of murmuring and complaining about
everything that’s gone wrong. It’s time for you take a look into a
mirror and begin speaking words of encouragement over yourself; and
have a spirit of expectancy that the FOG is about to show up in your
life.
David, a man after God’s own heart; when everything was going bad
for him, David didn’t complain; because nobody was interested in
listening to him even if he started complaining.
Watch how David dealt with this troubling situation !
1Sam.30: 6. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake
of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every
man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in
the LORD his God.
Are you ready for the FOG ? If your answer is yes, then expect the
FOG !
