Tim.6:
10.   For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

: 11.   But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

The enemy / Satan, has and is yet using the incomplete, twisted prosperity gospel to render the witness of the church powerless in today’s society; as many of today’s prominent church leaders and the upcoming young church leaders who are seeking prominence are all given to this incomplete, twisted prosperity gospel.

Let me make this emphatically clear, I do sincerely and strongly believe in the prosperity of God’s people (Ps.35:27b. Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.)

Please know this!  If the Lord takes such pleasure in the prosperity of his servants; how much more pleasure would He take in the prosperity of His sons and daughters through Yahshua Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ)?   Satan, himself knowing of God’s pleasure in prospering His people has methodically infiltrated the church via erroneous religious teachings, and that of the incomplete, twisted prosperity gospel that today’s crafty religious leaders are using to fleece their itching ears, gullible followers.

Adding to the deception of the enemy’s twisted prosperity gospel is the Religious Leader’s shallow / one dimensional way of thinking as it relates to the concept and word prosperity; of which they’ve done a good job in passing onto their followers.  95% of today’s church simply equates the word prosperity solely to money whereas prosperity means so much more than just money.

In the Hebrew the word prosperity is: Shalowm, Shaw-lome'; or   Shalom, Sshaw-lome'; which has several meanings such as (1) safe / safety, (2) well, (3) happy, (4) friendly, (5) welfare, (6) health, (7) peace, (8) favour, (9) greet,  (10) wholly.

The distorted view of prosperity that’s running throughout the church has many believers chasing after money and willing to do just about anything to possess the same.  There are religious leaders who will blatantly / unashamedly stand in the pulpit and tell lies in Jesus’ name to provoke their followers to sow financial seeds.

It seems as if the mandate of today’s church leaders are to get a large congregation from which derives large tithes and offerings. And within the matter of a year or two the so-called (Mand-of God) is building a million dollar home and driving luxuries vehicles. This practice is certainly not of God, where church leaders are living the FAT life and their members live the pauper’s life, and are told to “wait on the Lord, and believe for their breakthroughs”.

Declaring this kind of message will forever put and keep the messenger /s on the opposite side of today’s religious leaders. In the spirit realm this twisted prosperity gospel can be liken to disease gangrene; of which if it’s not quickly and properly treated there will have to be a severing of the infected body part in order to preserve life.

In their attempt to silence or still the voices of those who dare to speak out against the twisted prosperity gospel and other ungodly practices in the church; many of today’s Religious Bishops, Doctors, Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, etc; can often be heard warning / threatening their congregations with the misappropriation of Psalms.105:15. “The bible says, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm”

1Tim.6: 10.   For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

This love of money has really gotten the better part of today’s church; notwithstanding that we know the scripture says in “Eccl.10: 19.   A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things” the passionate pursuit of money that exist within and among the church has a deep rooted stench of evil that’s fostering a strong spirit of division and competition.

There are churches on the same street, in the same communities that are in stiff competing with each other in hosting various conferences; and will spend thousands of dollars to bring in Religious Celebrity to move / entertain the crowd and raise huge financial offerings.   Unfortunately due to this love of money; whenever the church is putting on any kind of event this unasked question always linger in the minds of many “Where is the money from this event going?)

There are some church leaders who, before accepting an invitation / opportunity to minister the word of God that will make it know beforehand as to what their financial honorarium should be; then there are those who boast of the royalties from their books and other material sales. It’s like, GONE are the days when the Holy Spirit was the driving force in the church and behind the action and motives of church leaders.  Today, it’s all about the MONEY; church leaders have adopted the mind-set of the drug dealers, the politicians, etc; which is to (GET ALL YOU CAN, AND CAN ALL YOU GET)

With all that’s being said; The half has not yet been told.   But, here’s the apostle Paul instructions to the young Pastor Timothy (1Tim.6: : 11.   But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
