Most-wanted suspect, Amal Hunter, captured by police -

A murder suspect on the police Most Wanted list was captured early this morning after nearly two weeks on
the run.
Amal Hunter, AKA “Bow” was arrested without incident around 1:00am on Tuesday 25th
January 2017 at a home in Southern New Providence by officers from the Selective Enforcement Team
during a special operation.
Additionally, an adult female and three male occupants of the home were taken into custody for harbouring a
fugitive.

Latest homicide: Man shot in vehicle ending up in water at Saunders Beach -

Police are appealing to the public for information to assist in
their investigations into the country’s latest murder of a male that
occurred on Saturday 31st December 2016.
Reports are that around
2:30am, a man had just pulled off in his vehicle from a sporting club on
West Bay Street, when someone fired several shots at him. The male lost
control of his vehicle, sending it into the water at Saunders Beach.
Shortly thereafter the lifeless body of the male was pulled from the
vehicle by bystanders and taken to shore where he was pronounced dead...

Armed robbery near Casuarina Bridge in Grand Bahama -

Police in Grand Bahama are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Friday 16th December 2016.
Reports
are that shortly after 3:00pm, two males while in the area of the
Casuarina Bridge were held up and robbed of a light blue 2002 Chrysler
van, cash and other personal items, by two males armed with a handgun.
Police later recovered the van off East Sunrise Highway...

Man in hospital after drive-by shooting at Sunset Park, police seek suspects -

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating two suspects responsible for a shooting incident that has left
a male detained in hospital on Wednesday 7th December 2016.
According to reports shortly after 10:00pm, a man was about to enter his vehicle in front of a home located
at Sunset Park off Carmichael Road, when two males armed with handguns approached and shot him
before speeding off in a dark coloured vehicle. The victim was rushed to hospital where he is detained in
serious condition.

locating 48 year old HOWARD GARNETTE THOMAS of #6 East IndianMan Road,
Freeport. He is described as standing at 5’8” in height, weighing 160
lbs. with dark brown complexion and average built.
He is wanted
by the Drug Enforcement Unit for Possession of Dangerous Drugs with the

Police in Grand Bahama are searching for two men who they want to
question in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday
3rd December 2016.
Reports are that shortly after 12:00pm, two males
armed with a firearm, entered a business establishment in Mack Town and
held the owner and patron at bay, robbing them of cash and cell phone
before making good their escape...

Two Nassau shootings, 1 male dead, 2 in hospital: Police search for suspects -

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are asking the public to come forth with
information to assist in solving two separate shootings that has left
one male dead and another in hospital on Monday 21st November 2016.
In
the first incident, shortly after 8:00pm, police received a report that
a male was shot at Sumner Street off Soldier Road. When police arrived
on the scene, they found the body of a male in his early teens lying in
front of a home who, had been shot. The male was pronounced dead on the
scene.

Suspects sought after shooting death on Palm Tree Ave, Nassau -

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are asking the public to come forth with information regarding a man who was found shot to death on
Sunday 20th November 2016.
Reports are that shortly before 2:00pm, police received a report of a man found dead in a home located on
Palm Tree Avenue. When police arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of a man who had been
shot. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
