2 females are in police custody after they were found in possession of dangerous drugs in Abaco: Reports are that on Tuesday 5th June 2018, shortly before 8:00pm,
officers acting on information and armed with a search warrant, went to a
residence in High Rock, Marsh Harbor, Abaco, where they searched the
home and discovered (2) plastic bags of suspected marijuana...

24-yr-old Abaco man arrested for possession of firearm and ammo -

Police in Abaco took into custody a 24 year old male of the Mudd, Abaco,
after he was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and
ammunition.
Reports are that on Friday 1st June 2018, shortly
before 2:00am, officers acting on information, went to an area on
Charles Sawyer Highway, where they conducted a search of a silver Honda
Fit vehicle with one male passenger and discovered a black and silver
9mm pistol with a clip containing (10) live rounds of ammunition...

Apparent drowning in Guana Cay, Abaco -

Police in Abaco are investigating an apparent drowning on Guana Cay of a 72 year old male.
Reports
are that on Tuesday 30th May 2018, shortly after 4:00pm, police
received a report that two males on a 44 ft. vessel, were swimming in
the area of Bakers Bay dock on Guana Cay, when the other male was
discovered floating in waters. CPR was rendered but the male victim
never regained consciousness...

Police on the Island of
Andros are investigating a stabbing incident Sunday, 27th May 2018,
which has left an adult male with injuries.
Shortly after
8:00pm, police were called to the Nicholls Town Clinic, after receiving
information that a male presented with stab wounds to his body. Reports
are that the victim got into an argument with a male relative while at a
home in Lowe Sound, resulting in him being stabbed...

Armed robbery in Spanish Cay, Abaco -

Police in Abaco need the public’s assistance in finding the
culprits who robbed a business establishment on Spanish Cay, Abaco.
Reports
are that on Sunday 27th May 2018, shortly after 10:00pm, two male
culprits, both reportedly armed with firearms, entered a business
establishment on Spanish Cay, accosted two employees and stole cash
before making good their escape...

Police in Abaco are investigating a traffic accident that has left several persons with serious, injuries.
Reports
are, that on Monday 2nd April 2018, sometime after 3:00pm, a serious
traffic accident occurred, on Earnest Dean Highway in the area of
Cherokee Road, involving a silver 2004 Kia Rio and a black Dodge
Caliber, both vehicles were extensively damaged and all of the occupants
received injuries...

Police in Abaco, are investigating a traffic accident that has left an individual dead.
Reports
are, that after 8:00pm, on Friday 23rd February 2018, the police in
Treasure Cay Abaco, received a report, of (2) two vehicles being on
fire, as a result of a traffic accident, just above Treasure Cay. It was
also reported, that a passenger was trapped in one of them...

PM Minnis and delegation assess fire damage in the Mud Settlement -

Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Hubert A. Minnis, centre, leads a high level
delegation of Cabinet Ministers and Government officials to Abaco for a
full assessment on yesterday's fire in the Mud settlement that has
destroyed an estimated 55 structures, displacing some 150 persons.
There were no major injuries reported. The Department of Social Services
and the Red Cross are providing assistance.

RBPF: Suspect pleads guilty to 7 counts of shopbreaking in Abaco -

Chris Tyrone Ferguson age 31 years of the Mudd, Abaco, was arraigned on
Monday 4th September 2017 before Magistrate Ancella Evans at the
Magistrate Court in Abaco. He was arraigned on (7) counts of
Shopbreaking, (7) counts of Stealing from a Shop and (1) count of
Stealing from a Vehicle. He pleaded guilty to all the offences and was
sentenced to three years for each count of Shopbreaking, (9) months on
each count of Stealing from a shop and (6) months for Stealing from a
Vehicle. All to be served concurrently...

RBPF: Abaco Shooting Victim Succumb to Injuries -

A 23 year old male victim of Murphy Town, Abaco who was hospitalized at
the Princess Margaret Hospital succumbed to his injuries on Saturday
17th June 2017.
This is in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Murphy Town, Abaco on Monday 12th June 2017.
Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the
general public for any information that can assist in this investigation...
