Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Today, at 4:40 p.m., Rotary District 7020 Governor Felix Stubbs, accompanied by his wife, Past President Carla Stubbs, and Assistant Diatrict Governor Karen Pinder arrive via Sky Bahamas Airlines on an official Visit to Abaco.

This afternoon at 5:30 p.m., DG Stubbs will meet with RCOA Board of Directors to review the progress and future plans of the Club. Police in Abaco have in their custody nine illegal immigrants.

Reports are that on Friday 11th September 2015 shortly before 1:00am, Officers of the Sandy Point Police Station, acting on information, went to an area near the Sandy Point Dock and apprehended nine illegal immigrants namely; eight males and one female.

Further reports indicated that they had illegally landed via a boat earlier that night...

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco are investigating a stabbing incident that has left a 22 year old male of the Mudd, in hospital.

Reports are that on Sunday 23rd August 2015 shortly after 2:00am, while in the area of Don McKay Blvd, police received information that a male was reportedly attacked by a another male known to him, who stabbed him multiple times about the body. He was taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic and seen by doctor who listed his injuries as serious. The victim will be flown into New Providence for further medical attention...

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco are investigating a traffic fatality that has left a 30 year old male dead.

Reports are that on Tuesday 18th August 2015 shortly after 6:00am, police investigated a traffic accident that occurred on S.C Bootle Highway, involving a white 2001 Honda Integra that was travelling west on S.C Bootle Highway when the lone driver crashed into a utility pole. Abaco, Bahamas  - Police along with Drug Enforcement Unit and other Law Enforcement Agency discover marijuana plants in Abaco.

54 yr old American male drowns in Abaco - Jul 10, 2015 - 8:57:17 AM


Police in Abaco are investigating a drowning incident.

Reports are that on Thursday 9th July 2015 shortly after 7:00pm, police received information that a 54 year old American male while in waters off Abaco snorkeling with a group of person, reportedly began experiencing difficulties while in water. He was assisted back to the boat and was transported to Abaco to the Marsh Harbor Clinic where he was announced dead by doctor.

Police in Abaco are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a business establishment in Treasure Cay.

Report are that on Thursday 2nd July 2015, shortly after 11:00pm, two males reportedly entered a business establishment in Treasure Cay, one of the culprits were reportedly armed with a shot gun. They reportedly robbed the establishment off cash, before making good their escape. The culprits are described as standing between 5’7” – 5’8”tall and wearing all black clothing with black shirts tied around their faces.

Police in Abaco are investigating the death of a male whose lifeless body was discovered in waters near the harbour area of Union Jack Dock.

Reports are that on Monday 29th June 2015 shortly after 5:00am, police were called to the Union Jack Dock where the discovery was made.

The body was pronounced dead by doctor from the Marsh Harbor Clinic.  Police are actively investigating this matter.

Coral Harbour Base - A joint operation between the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and the Royal Bahamas Police Force earlier this afternoon resulted in the Defence Force vessel P-130 apprehending a small speed boat with three  irregular Haitian migrants on board off Hole In The Wall, South Abaco this afternoon.

One other migrant along with a Bahamian was apprehended by Police in Abaco near Hole In The Wall.  The four migrants and one Bahamian five were transported to Sandy Port, Abaco where they were handed over to Immigration and Police authorities for further processing and questioning...

Philippine National dies in industrial accident in Abaco, Bahamas - May 20, 2015 - 6:29:29 PM

ABACO, The Bahamas - Police in Abaco are investigating the death of a 49 year old male Philippine National,who died while working on a vessel that was docked in Marsh Harbour.

Reports are that on Wednesday 20th May 2015 shortly before 2:00pm, the decease was a male crew worker on the vessel and was reportedly on top of a container when he accidentally slipped and fell of the container, landing on top of a stack of lumber before hitting the steel surface of the vessel. He was taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic where he was pronounced dead by doctor.

18-yr-old Abaco Man Charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm - Apr 28, 2015 - 10:00:52 AM

Abaco, Bahamas - Jeason Delhomme age 18 years of the Mudd, Abaco, was arraigned on Monday 27th April 2015, before Magistrate Ancella Evans- Williams at the Magistrate Court in Marsh Harbour, Abaco. He was arraigned on charges of Attempted Murder and Possession of a firearm with the intent to endanger life. He was not allowed to enter a plea, a preliminary enquiry into this matter will be held on the 8th June 2015. He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until then.

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco have in their custody a 17 year old male resident of the Mudd, Abaco, who was arrested for possession of a firearm with the intent to endanger life.

Reports are that on Thursday 23rd April 2015, shortly after 2:00pm, Officers of the Marsh Harbour Police Station were in the area of the Mudd where the suspect reportedly discharge a firearm at them. Officers later arrested the 17 year old male in the Mudd and retrieved a 9mm spent cartridge from the scene. He is expected to be charge for this mater...
