Police in Abaco hauled two male suspects before the Magistrate Court for the shooting incident that occurred on Monday 18th December 2017.

The first suspect is Maxwell Robinson age 18 years of Dundas Town, Abaco. He was arraigned before the Magistrate Court in Abaco on Possession of a Firearm and Causing Harm charges. He pleaded guilty to Possession of a Firearm and not guilty to the Causing Harm charge. He was sentenced to ...

An ongoing investigation led by the Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by US Drug Enforcement Agents, has resulted in the discovery of three additional marijuana fields in Andros on Monday, 18th December, 2017.

Police in Abaco are investigating a shooting incident that has left a 17 year old male with injuries.

Reports are that on Monday 18th December 2017 shortly before 10:00pm, a 17 year old male was reportedly at a basketball court in Dundas Town, Abaco when he was approached by another male who shot him before fleeing on foot. Reports are that on Saturday 16th December 2017 shortly after 5:00pm, two American females both ages 39 years of Pompana Beach, Florida presented themselves at the Freeport Harbor security check point in Grand Bahama. According to reports around 1:00pm on Wednesday 6th December, 2017 Drug Enforcement Unit Officers along with US Drug Enforcement Agents were on routine patrol in the North Andros area when they discovered a Marijuana field in the area of Owens’ Town. An estimated eight thousand (8,000) marijuana plants were uprooted.

Five men are in police custody in Bimini after they were found in possession of a quantity of dangerous drugs.

Reports are that on Sunday 19th November 2017 shortly before 9:00pm, a team of officers on the island of Bimini executed a search warrant at a residence on Buccaneers Point, South Bimini and discovered 4.5 lbs. of cocaine and 1.5 lbs. of marijuana. Police in Bimini have in their custody three (3) males who were arrested for possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Reports are that on Sunday 17th September 2017 shortly after 12:00am, police were on mobile patrol on North Bimini when gunshots were heard, officers then observed three males in the area of a business establishment who on seeing the officers pulled out a firearm, discharged the firearm and ran.
