Murder on Grand Bahama, Public assistance needed - Jan 13, 2019 - 8:07:02 AM
 Police in Grand Bahama need your assistance in finding the person(s)
responsible for a shooting incident that has left a male dead.
Reports
are that on Sunday 13th January 2019, shortly after 12am, police were
alerted to gunshots being fired in the area of East Atlantic Drive.
Officers quickly responded and upon arrival discovered the lifeless body
of a male, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are appealing to the public for any information that can assist with this
investigation,
to give them a call at the Central Detective Unit at telephone numbers
350-3107 thru 12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.

Grand Bahama armed robbery at International Bazaar - Jan 7, 2019 - 7:21:18 AM
Reports are that shortly after 1:00am, police were called to a
business establishment in the International Bazaar where it was reported
that two culprits, one armed with a firearm entered that establishment
and robbed the cashier of monies and two patrons of cash and personal
items.
Police are actively investigating
this matter and are appealing to the public for any information that can
help them solve this matter, to call the Central Detective Unit at

Alleged drowning in Grand Bahama - Jan 4, 2019 - 5:36:19 PM
Police are investigating an alleged drowning: Reports are that on Friday 4th January 2019 shortly
after 2:00pm, police were called to the Deadmans Reef Beach, where it
was reported that a male while snorkeling in waters, began experiencing
difficulties and was later discovered unresponsive. Emergency Medical
Personnel along with the doctor from the West End Community Clinic were
called to the scene and pronounced him dead. Police are actively
investigating this matter...

Shooting Incident in Eight Mile Rock - Jan 2, 2019 - 1:03:31 PM
 Reports are that on Tuesday 1st January 2019 shortly before 10:00pm,
police responded to gunshots being heard in the Pinedale, Eight Mile
Rock park area, where officers met a male with gunshot wounds to the
upper body.
Further reports are that two males were involved in an
altercation when one of the male shot the other to the upper body with a
firearm before fleeing the scene...

Reports are that on Sunday 30th December 2018 shortly after 1:00am,
officers of Rapid Response responded to a disturbance at the Taino Beach
area and acting on information, arrested a 21 year old male of Fortune
Bay, who was found in possession of a black and grey pistol with one
live round of ammunition. He was also wanted by the Magistrate Court in
Freeport on (2) two outstanding warrants. He will be arraigned before
the Magistrate Court early this week...

RBPF: Marijuana Field Discovered in Grand Bahama - Dec 28, 2018 - 8:02:13 AM
Reports are that on Thursday 27th December 2018, officers of the
Drug Enforcement Unit along with U.S Law Enforcement Officers, while on
aerial patrol in the eastern area of Grand Bahama, discovered (5) plots
of suspected marijuana plants and a quantity of suspected marijuana
seeds. The plants range between six inches to two feet in height and has
a street value of $120,000.00.
There were no arrest made in this matter...

Police in Grand Bahama are investigating the death of a malewho was found with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Reports
are that on Tuesday 18th December 2018, shortly after 10:00am, police
were called to a residence on Inagua Avenue, where a male was discovered
with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Emergency Medical Personnel
were called to the scene. He was later pronounced dead.
Police
are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the Grand
Bahama community for any information that can assist them in this
investigation...

David Arlington Colebrooke of #1 Jasmine Gardens, Nassau, New
Providence. He is wanted by the Drug Enforcement Unit in Grand Bahama
for Possession of Dangerous Drugs with the intent to supply. He is
described as standing at 5’10’ tall, weighing between 240-260 lbs. with
dark brown complexion and is heavy built.

Reports
are that on Tuesday 30th October 2018, shortly before 9:00pm, police
were called to the International Bazaar at a business establishment
where reports off gunshot were heard. Further inquiries led officers to
the Rand Memorial Hospital where a male with gunshot wounds about the
body was being attended to by doctors...
