 Police on the Island of New Providence are investigating a shooting
incident Tuesday 20th August, 2019, which left an adult male in
hospital.
According to reports, shortly before
10:00pm a man was at a home on Commonwealth Boulevard, Elizabeth Estate,
when he was approached by a male armed with a firearm, who shot
multiple times about the body before running away. The injured man was
transported to hospital and is presently listed in critical condition...

who opened fired in their direction, injuring two of them and a woman,

forced him into a red Honda Accord car and drove him to Cowpen Road...

to reports, shortly before 5:00pm, police responded to Sea Breeze Drive
off Beatrice Avenue, Sea Breeze Estate, where a male was found
unresponsive, with an injury to the head. Paramedics were called to the
scene and a short time later confirmed that the male was deceased...

 Reports are that shortly before 2:00pm, an American female, a home owner
in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, while swimming with her two grandsons in
waters on Gilliam Bay Beach, Green Turtle Cay, was reportedly caught in a
rip current. Persons nearby rescued the two boys and the victim who was
brought to shore. CPR was administered to the female by local
residents...
