Reports are that on Monday 24th June 2019, a 17 year old juvenile of Martin Town, Eight Mile Rock was arraigned before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbye Ferguson in Magistrate Court #1 on Murder charge. He was not required to enter a plea and the matter was adjourned to the 13th August 2019 to be heard before the Juvenile Panel. He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until trial...

Reports are that on Friday 14th June 2019 shortly after 6:00am, police were called to a well-known business establishment on Queens Highway, where culprits break and entered the southern entrance door to that establishment and removed an ATM machine, property of First Caribbean Bank (CIBC).

Police are assiduously investigating this matter and are appealing to the general public for any information, no matter how minute the information may seem, to call the Central Detective Unit in Grand Bahama at telephone numbers 350-3107 thru12...

RBPF: Grand Bahama police are investigating an alleged drowning that has left a male dead - May 15, 2019 - 10:40:01 AM

Reports are that on Tuesday 14th May 2019 shortly after 9:00pm, police were called to Portacall Drive, Bahama Terrace near the canal, where they discovered a white truck submerged under water. Officers of the Police Marine Section with assistance from a private vessel and crew, hoisted the vehicle out of water and recovered the body of a lifeless male. 

Investigation will continue into this matter, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death...
