No fear of God -
Oct 24, 2011 - 10:21:31 PM
With
over four thousand (4,000) religious denominational and none denominational
churches in the Bahamas and most of these churches can be found in little
Nassau; unknowingly one would believe that there’s a great fear of God (Yahweh)
in the Bahamas.
Now,
before going any further; just the above statement would and have already
offended those of a religious mind-set.
There
is a small sense of reverential fear of God among SOME, and this fear in most
cases is displayed for public amusement during some televised church service...

What if? -
Oct 18, 2011 - 2:26:24 PM
What
if God were to expose all of your wrong doings?
Not
just the ones you’ve committed before professing Christ as your Lord and
Savior; but also those after your acceptance of Him, and the ones that you’re
yet struggling with.
So!
Before you undertake the task of condemning, pulling down and trying to
exposing the short falls / short comings of another; ask yourself this question
“What
if God were to expose my hidden secrets?”

Do they know? Do they care? -
Oct 7, 2011 - 8:14:51 PM
Does
today’s church know and care about End-Times Events? Or, is it that the church
is being lured to sleep by the prosperity / materialistic gospel?
There
is this world of ignorance that ninety nine, point nine percent (99.9%) of the
Christian church lives in; when it comes to End-Times Events.
One would have easily thought that in this
day and time with the great advancement of technology, the Internet / the
information highway, that the level of ignorance would not be as high; but
unfortunately this is not the case when it comes to the religious minded
church-folks.
Here
in the Bahamas we’ve got over four thousand religious churches, different
denominations and none denominations. I believe that there’s not a scripture in
the bible that a Bahamian can’t quote; that’s whether he or she attends a
church...

Whose church is it? -
Oct 3, 2011 - 1:31:30 AM
Matt.16:
18.
And I say also unto thee, That thou art
Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall
not prevail against it.
One
of the greatest problems we’re faced with today is the misconception / the preconceived
ideas of the word church.
Notwithstanding
that even though many among us can intellectually and articulately give the
Greek meaning of the word church
(ekklesia, ek-klay-see'-ah;) The hidden
ignorance within many religious leaders concerning church is being manifested every
day, and also the true revelation of church
(Matt.16:18).
Here’s
where we are today as it relates to what is known as the church!

Prosperity belongs to you -
Sep 27, 2011 - 4:48:17 PM
The one sided, twisted, incomplete prosperity gospel that’s emanating
from many church pulpits today is certainly not of God (Yahweh).
This twisted version of Godly prosperity primarily
benefits the religious leaders while the majority of the congregation live a life
of waiting for their breakthrough / a life of poverty or just barely making it.
Despite the fact that many church leaders are twisting the
word of God for their selfish financial gain. It is the will of God to prosper
His people; He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants (those who
faithfully serve Him). Here’s how David says it!

Perilous Times -
Sep 21, 2011 - 11:44:07 AM
2Tim.
3:1.
This know also, that in the last days
perilous times shall come.
Can
you stand to hear the truth, or do you wish to continue hearing the religious rhetoric
and prophet-lying like:
“I
don’t know who I’m talking to in here, but God told me to tell you that He’s
about to bless you with a house, or a car or some other material blessing”
that’s being echoed throughout today’s church?
As
a young man, I didn’t grow up in what we call a (Christian home), but I’ve
always had a sense / reverence for the things of God (Yahweh).
Growing up in Coconut Grove when and wherever
there was a tent meeting, church service, revival taking place I was there.
I now know that it was God who kept me around
to help with the setting up and taking down of the tents after the meetings. I
was at every...

Two Opinions -
Sep 14, 2011 - 7:29:31 PM
1Kings.18:
21.
And Elijah came unto all the people, and
said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him:
but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
The
question of “How long halt ye between two opinions?” was asked of the children
of Israel by the prophet Elijah.
It is
constantly said, and can be heard in the midst of many conversations the
sayings that The Bahamas is a Christian Nation.
As
we ( The Bahamas ) goes through this vicious cycle of having the enemy wreaking
havoc throughout the length and breadth of this country as a result of the spiritual...

And when thou art converted -
Sep 6, 2011 - 12:13:01 PM
Lk.22: 31. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
:32. But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
This word converted in the Greek is:
epistrepho, ep-ee-stref'-o; which has several meanings such as (1) to
revert, (2) to come or go again, (3) to re-turn about, or again.
Often when a church leader has been
publicly disgraced this question is always asked “How a man of God
could be accused of doing such a thing?” The simple answer to such a
question is this “he hasn’t been converted as yet...

Problem with Jesus -
Aug 31, 2011 - 10:50:01 AM
The
problem with Yahshua Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ), is that He didn’t fall
in line with the religious order of Hid day; He always did and said things that
would totally upset the religious leaders.
Despite
the fact that all of this is evident throughout the scriptures, if Yahshua was
to walk the earth today as He did back then; the religious leaders would have
even greater problems with Him; first of all because they wouldn’t know Him due
to their re-conceived erroneous religious teachings / stinking thinking, and
secondly He notably speaks out against hypocrisy of which they’ve taken to a
totally different / higher level.
The
problem with Yahshua is that even as an invited guest He would say things that
would change the entire atmosphere of a religious function...

A Legal Right -
Aug 16, 2011 - 8:21:12 PM
One
of the hardest spirits to drive out; is the spirit that’s been invited in.
Please
try to follow me via the leading of the Holy Spirit as you’re reading this
article; because it’s very easy to misunderstand what is being said due to
preconceived religious thinking and teachings.
If
my son marries a woman who is (a daughter of Satan), or if my daughter marries a
man who is (a son of Satan), Satan automatically becomes his or her father-in-law;
which literally means that as father-in-law an open invitation is extended to
him, and he now has a degree of rights to their home / family...

Not until God says so! -
Aug 7, 2011 - 9:17:52 PM
When
one is not walking by faith and is not spiritually mature enough to see things
through the eyes of faith; it is very easy for him / her to give into what they’re
seeing and hearing in the natural.
Don’t
you do it! Don’t you dare think about giving in and giving up!
It
doesn’t matter what you’re going through or what everybody is saying concerning
you.
It’s not over until God says so!
You
might have lost your job; the bank is going forward with the foreclosure
proceedings of your home, your vehicle may have been repossessed; you’ve gotten
a bad report from the doctor; and every other bill is past due, then to further
add insult to injury...

Will a man rob God? -
Aug 2, 2011 - 11:15:11 AM
When it comes to provoking
the sheepfold to financially give; religious leaders both far and wide
waste no time in quoting (Malachi.3:8–11).
Mal.3: 8. Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
: 9. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
: 10. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be
meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts,
if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a
blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it...

It’s your Faith, Not your tears! -
Jul 26, 2011 - 9:50:07 AM
It’s your FAITH that
prompts God (Yahweh) to move on your behalf; not your tears. Despite
the fact that the scripture says “He collects our tears in his bottle”
(Ps.56:8).
NLT: Ps.56: 8. You keep track of all my sorrows. You
have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one
in your book.
The simplicity of God’s word seems to be too
simple for the religious minded to receive and believe. Therefore
erroneous religious teachings and beliefs would have you...

Preach the Word -
Jul 19, 2011 - 5:32:00 PM
Our
nation (The Bahamas) is rapidly spiraling out of control; as communities are being
inundated with murders, other serious crimes and the rapid deterioration of the
family structure (Father, Mother & children). The logical question to be
asked is
“What impact is the church making in its community?”
Whenever
any kind of questions with regards to accountability of the church is being asked,
an immediate defensive position is taken by various religious leaders; in most
cases this position is the result of a guilty conscience.
On
any given day in watching church services on the local television one need...

It's Time to Speak! -
Jul 14, 2011 - 5:27:58 PM
Not
only that it’s time to speak; but believe in that which you’re speaking!
Mk.11:23.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but
shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall
have whatsoever he say.
How
much do you believe in what you’re saying?
Or could it be that you’ve been speaking words that doesn’t line up with
God’s plans and purposes for your life?
Sad, but true; there are many who name the name of Christ (The Messiah)
that speaks and believe their political conviction more than they do the word
of God (Yahweh)...

38 Years Later -
Jul 8, 2011 - 8:51:13 AM
As
we celebrate another year of Independence it’s always good to God (Yahweh)
thanks for His grace, mercy and goodness to us as a nation; collectively and
individually. And then we have to be true to ourselves and ask questions like
“Where
are we going? What’s our vision? Are the leaders we’re electing qualified &
capable of our destination? Or is this just an aimless journey that we’re on as
a nation?
As
a nation, one of our greatest disadvantages as it relates to our Independence
is that we didn’t have to physically fight for our independence as some other
nations had to; therefore Bahamians place very little value on the entire
concept of independence...

As a Lion -
Jun 28, 2011 - 10:35:21 AM
Prov.
28:1.
The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the
righteous are bold as a lion.
But
the righteous are bold as a lion:
This
word righteous in the Hebrew is tsaddiyq,
tsad-deek';
and it has several meanings such as (1) just, (2) lawful and
(3) a man in right standing with his heavenly Father.
The
man that is in right standing with God (Yahweh) is bold / fearless as a lion;
for this man has the revelation that no weapon and no opposition that is formed
or try to come against him shall prosper.
The
Lion, the king of the jungle; never retreats and never surrenders, whenever the
lion shows up all the other animals give way / make space. When the lion roars
even the birds that are high above the ground in trees and on mountain top
takes note and pays attention...

Oh’ If You Only Knew -
Jun 20, 2011 - 1:24:43 PM
1 Corinth.2:9. Eye
hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of
man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
The
stronghold, deceptive spirit of religion and the traditions of men is
causing many to mentally ascend to the word of God (settling for head
knowledge / level of the word); thereby rendering themselves powerless
and unproductive.
Please hear me! You can’t continue
blaming your Bishop, Pastor, Apostle, Doctor, etc; for not doing what
you think they should be doing as a man of God...

A Father’s Wisdom -
Jun 19, 2011 - 10:47:43 AM
As
we celebrate Father’s Day this week let’s take a closer look how we’re
functioning as fathers, not only in our homes but also in our communities. If a father’s guidance and wisdom is lacking
in the lives of our troubled young men and women, and they know that a good example
of a father and his wisdom is right down the street, 9/10 of the time they
would make some kind of effort to reach and make contact with that father.
A
godly father, a father of wisdom should have a great sphere of influence in his
community, just his presence or the fact that he resides in the community can
be liken to the presence of an armed, uniformed, NO NONSENSE, yet easy to
communicate with Police Officer stationed in a particular area...

Are any sick among you? -
Jun 7, 2011 - 6:41:08 PM
James.5:
14.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them
pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
:
15. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him
up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Now
listen!
As a so called Christian Nation,
it’s either we believe God’s word or we don’t; simple as that. The time has
come and gone for us to stop pretending and playing church; do you know or does
it matter to you that sickness and diseases are rapidly snuffing out the lives
of our love ones, friends, neighbors, co-workers and church members?
Here’s
a rhetorical question!
