Be a blessing -
Jun 1, 2011 - 9:48:23 PM
Be a blessing:
Gen.12: 2. And I will make of thee a
great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou
shalt be a blessing:
Despite all of the prosperity
teachings and other materials concerning prosperity that’s circulating
throughout the church today; there’s still a vast amount of poverty and
lack among the majority of saints. It’s fair to say that this
consistent level of poverty and lack is due to greed, selfishness and
blatant disobedient to God’s word by those who have gain access to level
of financial prosperity / blessing...

It’s a Gift -
May 24, 2011 - 8:35:38 PM
Eph.2:
8.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God:
:
9.
Not of works, lest any man should
boast.
This word Grace in the Greek is:
Charis,
khar'-ece; and has several meanings such as (1) The divine influence
upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; (2) gratitude, (3) acceptable, (4)
benefit, (5) favour, (6) gift, (7) joy, (8) liberality, (9) pleasure, (10) thanks,
& (11) worthy.
So,
with a little more understanding of the word grace could we read
Eph.2:8,
in this manner?
For by God’s divine influence upon our heart, and it’s reflection in
our lives we are saved through faith; and that not of ourselves: it is the gift
of God.

The Head -
May 17, 2011 - 6:15:31 AM
Deut.28:
13.
And the LORD shall make thee the head, and
not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if
that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command
thee this day, to observe and to do them:
And
the Lord shall make thee (you) the head, and not the tail; above only and not
beneath! This move has absolutely nothing to do with one’s religious or
political status.
This is done solely by
the Lord.
No
amount of crafty wheeling or dealing, no closed door secret meetings can bring
about that which God has spoken in the above passage of scripture. Whatever a
man compromised to gain, he would have to compromise to maintain...

Thank God for Mother -
May 5, 2011 - 8:37:34 PM
What
a woman! She
might not be what others think she could and should be; but she should mean the
world to you. She carried you within up to the date she gave birth; late at
nights she was up watching over you, early in the mornings and throughout the
days her watch continued.
There
should ALWAYS be a
“Thank you God, for Mom” in your mouth.
Mom, saw the greatness that God deposit within
you from day one; and despite all of her struggles, ups and downs; she did
everything within her power to cultivate that greatness. True, she may not have
been the perfect Mom; but she’s Mom and that alone is by far enough to demand
the utmost respect and honor...

The Houses -
May 4, 2011 - 9:39:01 AM
Which
houses are impacting our communities; (1) The Number Houses / Web Shops, (2)
The Illegal Drug Houses, (3) The Night Clubs / Bars or (4) The Church Houses?
The
web shops, drug houses, night clubs and bars are open to their communities /
public seven days a week; twelve (12) – eighteen (18) hours a day catering to
the public at large. Unlike the churches that are open at most three (3) days
per week for a few hours.

Never Forsaken -
Apr 26, 2011 - 1:25:57 PM
Ps.37:
25. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I
not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
As
believers, it’s time for us to truly get a revelation of the above passage of
scripture so that the complaining and murmuring about one’s status and the lack
of material possessions among the saints would cease.
The
passion and desire for material possession has a subtle, cunning and unhealthy string
attached that’s designed to distract one from sincerely focusing on God and His
kingdom.Notwithstanding that God is not
opposed to His children having abundance of possessions and wealth...

What about Easter, the Bunny and the Egg? -
Apr 20, 2011 - 11:56:48 PM
Acts.12:1. Now about that time
Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
: 2. And he killed James the
brother of John with the sword.
: 3. And because he saw it
pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days
of unleavened bread.).
: 4. And when he had apprehended
him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to
keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
As much as we love to celebrate Easter and excite our
children with the colorful Easter egg hunt; it’s time that we tell / teach our
children the truth. Then again, we can
only teach that which we know...

Blessed is the Nation -
Apr 6, 2011 - 9:24:04 AM
Ps.33:
12. Blessed is the nation whose God is
the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
This
word blessed in the Hebrew is:
'esher, eh'-sher; which means Happy
/ happiness; and is interpreted / translated empowered to prosper.
Empowered
to prosper is the nation whose God
('elohiym, el-o-heem') is the Lord
(Yahweh);
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
The
mere existence of the Israel the nation, instilled fear and envy in other
nations..

Spiritually Disconnected! -
Apr 1, 2011 - 7:30:39 AM
Spiritually disconnected:
A classic example of one being spiritually
disconnected can be found in the latter days of Eli the priest
(2Sam.2:)
Here
was a man of God, who was in charge of ministering unto the Lord. One of the
first mentioning of Eli the priest being spiritually disconnected is as follows
(1Sam.1:
14.
And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? Put away thy wine from
thee).
Hannah,
was having a heart to heart intercessory moment with God; her lips was moving
and no voice / sound was being heard, upon noticing Hannah the spiritually
disconnected man of God said
“How long wilt thou be drunken?

An ear to hear -
Mar 23, 2011 - 9:32:31 AM
In
the book of Revelation chapters 2–3, Yahshua Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ) spoke
via letters to the angles of the seven churches [Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos,
Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia & Laodicea] and each of the churches were
given this warning
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
church”
Listen,
I know that you love your Denominational or None-Denominational church, your
Bishop, Apostle, Doctor, Pastor. Etc; but it’s time for you to grow up /
spiritually mature, develop an Ear to hear, what the Spirit saith unto your
religious church...

Truth -
Mar 13, 2011 - 4:23:19 PM
One
of the greatest contributions to the division and the powerlessness that exist
among today’s church; is the lack of the true revelation and acceptance of the
TRUTH.
As long as the churches
(denominations and none denominations) each holds onto their religious, preconceived,
divisive ideas of the truth. The manifested presence of God will never show up
within the four walls of today’s religious church / congregations.
It
was not a coincidental statement nor is it one to be taken lightly that which Yahshua
Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ) said to the Samaritan woman at the well, when
He said
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit
and in truth” (John.4:24)...

In Spirit and in Truth -
Mar 7, 2011 - 1:28:44 PM
John.4:
24.
God is a Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Who
are you truly worshiping?
I know that
there are folks who would be quick to say that they are worshiping the God of
the bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The woman of Samaria at the well was also convinced that she and her people
were worshiping the right way and the true God, but here’s Yahshua’s response
to her.
KJV:
John.4:
21.
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe
me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at
Jerusalem, worship the Father.

I receive that! -
Feb 26, 2011 - 12:45:04 PM
I
know that I’m not alone in saying that
“I’ve heard so many pathetic (so-called
prophetic words) gone forth as prophecies in the church and at various religious
conferences / gathering; and without fail to hear the itching ears, naïve
religious folks say
“I receive that”
Can
I tell you that as a Pastor, I don’t say
“Amen” to everything that I hear coming
from church pulpits, internationally or locally; no matter whom the preacher /
teacher might be.
Please
hear me!

When pressure, presses you -
Feb 20, 2011 - 12:45:54 PM
What
do you do, when pressure presses you?
It’s
during those moments when everything that could go wrong; goes wrong.
All of your creditors are calling (delinquent
payments), financial problems, health issues, unhealthy family matters, the
lost of a love one; thereby causing your heart to be overwhelmed.
It’s
in these moments that you’ve got to put pride aside and cry out to the Lord as
David frequently did.
Ps.61:1.
Hear my cry, O God;
attend unto my prayer.

He sent His word -
Feb 16, 2011 - 10:10:18 AM
Ps.107:
20.
He sent his word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions.
There
is healing in His word; if you can just receive and believe His word, the miraculous
healing power of God (Yahweh) is available to you. The greatest hindrance to God
healing power is doubt and unbelief.
We’re
living in a day and time where the enemy has pulled out all of his deceiving tricks
and gimmicks, thereby causing many well meaning saints to live beneath their
God ordained privileges and benefits...

He Cares -
Feb 8, 2011 - 5:32:02 PM
Ps.55: 22.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall
sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Have
you ever been to that place / position in life where everything seems to be
going wrong and you begin to wonder if anybody cares?
If
you haven’t, I thank God for you, if you have or you’re at that place right
now; I can assure you without a doubt that God (Yahweh) cares.
Not only does He cares but He’s willing and
able to do for you; that which nobody else can.

Head or Tail -
Jan 30, 2011 - 8:15:06 PM
Deut.28:
13.
And
the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be
above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the
commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to
observe and to do them:
One’s
obedience to Yahweh’s commandments puts him / her directly in the path
of being the head, and not the tail; above only, and not beneath.
Contrary
to popular beliefs it matters not how many religious conferences a
person attends or which anointed religious leader lays hands upon that
person; or how many religious materials one purchase.
Disobedience to God’s commandments will always bring about the reverse of the many blessings mentioned in
Deut.28:1-13.

Your Foundation -
Jan 26, 2011 - 5:16:32 PM
Lk.6: 46.
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
: 47.
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like:
Despite
all of the religious and political rhetoric the times that we’re living
in will clearly define the foundation upon which our lives are built.
As
the political climate heats up due to the fact that another General
Election is on the rise, many Bahamians will fall for the same old
political rhetoric. And to add further insult to injury the (Politically
Motivated Religious Leaders) will use every opportunity to get their
political inspired messages into the hearts and minds of their
congregations mixed with a few scripture verses.

An Amazing Year -
Jan 19, 2011 - 10:19:47 PM
Lk.13:8.
And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
: 9. And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
One
can make all the religious noise and excuses that he / she may wish or
even choose to follow the traditional quest of religiously stressing the
biblical numbers of the year.
The fact and truth of the matter is that “It’s expected that we all bear fruit that’s fit for the Master’s use”
As
believers, we can no longer hide behind our denominations, our
religious leaders or some other form of religious notion with the belief
that...
